Community Garden

Gardening tills the soul.

In the summer of 2021, we proudly jumped in to lend a hand to the Mason Community Garden and handle their banking needs.

Mason Community Garden has six 15'x15' garden plots dedicated to growing produce for the Mason Food Bank and other worthy groups in the community. The six plots are planted with seeds and plant materials  donated by the Garden Project of Greater Lansing. These six plots resulted in 689 pounds being donated from July 11th through October 12th of 2023.  And that doesn't count the produce donated by individual gardeners!

It's a great activity to do with kids, get out in the sunshine or just enjoy the peace found digging in the dirt.
